REPOK: A total of 79 organisations here received cheques from Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.

Huang said that the recipients should utilise it in the most effective manner to enhance their respective organisations and continue actively engaging in activities that benefit the community.

“I also hope that the recipients will be able to work with the community to advance development in Sarikei in general,” he said after handing over cheques to schools and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at a ceremony held at the DUN Repok Service Centre recently.

Furthermore, he reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with community leaders and the service centre to provide the best service to the people.

“This is primarily in the fields of education and urban-rural development, to enhance the living standards of the people and local infrastructure,” he said.
