KUCHING: A delegation from Brunei Darussalam and Timor-Leste recently visited Sarawak Skills, opening up opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders in the BIMP-EAGA region.
In a press release, led by chief executive officer (CEO) of Timorese Manpower Agency Dato Nasir Latif, the delegation included Ambassador of Timor-Leste in Brunei Darussalam His Excellency Abel Guterres, Ambassador of Timor-Leste in Malaysia Her Excellency Joana Veneranda Amaral, chairman of Brunei Darussalam BIMP-EAGA Business Council Pengiran Dr. Haris Pengiran Duraman, head of Trade and Investment Facilitation, Brunei Darussalam BIMP-EAGA Business Council Md Metussin Wahab, Peter Wong from Stratcom Global, Brunei Darussalam and Jessy from the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Malaysia.
During their visit, the delegation was given a guided tour at Sarawak Skills Gallery by its executive director and chairman of the Federation of Malaysian Skills Development Centres (FMSDC) Hallman Sabri to showcase the progress of Sarawak Skills over the past twenty-nine years and its role in the transformation of Sarawak’s socio-economic landscape.
