KUCHING: Members of the public have been called upon to sell their recyclable items during the 3R Recycling Programme at Jalan Westwood this coming Saturday (Nov 25).
The Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), in their Facebook posts yesterday (Nov 22), announced that the programme will run from 9 am until 12 pm.
“Among the recyclable items accepted are paper and paper boxes, car batteries, plastics, aluminium cans, electric appliances, and used cooking oil,” they said.
They also said that if the weather is bad, such as a thunderstorm or heavy rain, the programme will be cancelled.
“Once the lorry’s capacity is full, the programme will end. Hence, the public is advised to come early,” they said.
