KUCHING: The pedestrian bridge on Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg here will be closed temporarily to facilitate maintenance works.
In a statement Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) said the closure will remain in effect until further notice.
To ensure safety and convenience, pedestrians are advised to use alternative routes via Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce or Jalan Hospital to access the Sarawak General Hospital.
According to DBKU, the closure is necessary to carry out essential repairs and maintenance, ensuring the bridge remains safe and comfortable for public use.
It sought cooperation from the public to enable the maintenance work to proceed smoothly.
