KUCHING: The newly inaugurated leadership of the Dian Lian Meradong Cultural Club has been entrusted with upholding the club’s mission by creating a stronger platform for singing.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii expressed confidence that they will remain committed to providing singing enthusiasts with a better platform.
The Sarikei MP said that this will enable everyone to showcase their talents and experience the joy that music brings.
“I hope that the committee members of the Dian Lian Meradong Cultural Club would actively promote and participate in activities, jointly advancing and enhancing the art of singing while contributing to the field.
“I believe that under the leadership of the chairman and with the full cooperation of the committee members, the club will attract more participants,” he said at the inauguration of the new committee and a Chinese New Year dinner last night.
“This will help strengthen the organisation, pool collective wisdom, and elevate the club’s activities to greater heights.”
His speech was delivered by Gung Chiu Kion.
Huang said the inauguration ceremony marked a significant moment in passing the torch and that the club’s journey ahead should focus on achieving unity to advance its mission.
