KUCHING: Crocodily finally broke through the reins with their first win of the season, securing a convincing 8-1 victory over Santai Pantai in Round 4 of the Kuching Dodgeball Social League.
Team captain Ian Woodford described the moment as surreal.
“Getting our first win really helped boost the team’s confidence and morale. We had a goal as a team, we stuck to it, and we achieved it.

“Crocodily played amazingly as a team. No words can describe how proud I am of them,” he said.

Ian shared his thoughts with Sarawak Tribune when contacted on Sunday.
He also commended Santai Pantai for putting up a good fight.
“As a debut team, going up against experienced teams has been a huge challenge, but an amazing experience nonetheless.
“After reflecting on our previous games, we made sure we were well prepared to face Santai Pantai,” he added.
With a clear mindset and a shared goal, Ian said Crocodily gave it their all and walked away with a well-earned win.
The league is held at Arena Sukan, from 8pm to 9pm every Thursday.
