SERIAN: A married couple suffered minor injuries after the motorcycle they were on, crashed into a car along KM55, Jalan Kuching-Serian on Saturday (Nov 27).
The incident happened around 1.45pm when the motorcycle ridden by a 32-year-old man and his 27-year-old wife, went out of control and crashed into a car that was making a u-turn to Kampung Rayang.
Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, who confirmed the case, said the man suffered injuries to his right ankle while his wife suffered injuries to her right ankle and right knee.
Both injured victims were treated early by firemen from Serian station before they were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old driver was unharmed in the accident.
He pointed out that the case is being investigated under Rule 3 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
