MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak here will host a community talk centred on education on Saturday (April 12).
The session, from 9am to 1pm, will take place in the Audio Visual Room of the library and is open to all who are keen to know more about the ambitious plan to implement free higher education by the year 2026.
Attendees can expect insightful discussions surrounding the financial, institutional, and quality aspects of education, essential for the successful rollout of this initiative.
“This community talk session offers the public an opportunity to get the latest updates on the implementation of free higher education in Sarawak by 2026, as well as to interact with experts and build social networks in the field of education,” said librarian Dorothy Dela Lawrence
“With its aim of fostering community involvement and generating innovative solutions, this talk is poised to be a significant step towards realising the goal of an inclusive and sustainable educational framework in Sarawak.”
The talk will be held in collaboration with Curtin Malaysia.
