KUCHING: Once again, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) Hope Place is collaborating with Mubadala Petroleum to reach out to the local people and spread festive cheer during this Ramadan month.
Mubadala Petroleum is a leading international upstream oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in Malaysia.
With Mubadala Petroleum’s support, Hope Place distributed food and essential iftar items, hand sanitisers, and face masks to 200 underprivileged families and individuals during the whole fasting month.
Core to Mubadala Petroleum’s business is being a responsible operator and corporate citizen with a strong commitment to community development, health, safety, and the environment.
“Hope Place is grateful to be able to provide this much needed aid to the less fortunate in Kuching, especially with the unceasing pandemic, and we are proud to work with Mubadala Petroleum on this occasion.
“This generous contribution will definitely help to lessen the burden of those who are struggling during this current pandemic, especially those who are fasting during Ramadan,” said Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan.
