KUCHING: OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (MEESty) have recently advanced their commitment to sustainable development and clean energy in Sarawak.

In a strategic meeting, Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, and OCBC Malaysia Managing Director, Senior Banker & Head of Investment Banking, Tan Ai Chin, discussed opportunities for OCBC Group to support renewable and sustainable energy projects through green and sustainable financing.

“OCBC Group is committed to leveraging its financial expertise to foster the growth of renewable energy infrastructure in Sarawak,” said Tan in a statement.
