RAP power couple Coi Leray and Trippie Redd have shared some joyful news: they are expecting their first child.
The 27-year-old Leray, made the announcement on Instagram, showcasing her baby bump in a series of photos. Captioning the post, “I’m a rock star mommy,” she teased their excitement for 2025. In the first image, the “Players” artiste lifts her shirt to reveal her growing belly while wearing a camouflage baseball cap and looking down at her bump.
Other photos feature 25-year-old rapper and songwriter, Trippie Redd, standing proudly besides Leray in an allblack outfit and chains, both cradling her belly.
Leray dazzled in a leopard-print bra top, jeans, and a black duster. One of the celebratory images included pink balloons spelling out her name.
On her Instagram Stories, Leray shared that she’s “over four months” along and noted her petite frame with humour: “I’m just small of course.”
This announcement marks a new chapter for Leray and Redd, who rekindled their relationship in 2024 after originally dating in 2019.
Their initial breakup inspired Redd’s track “Leray”, which featured lyrics reflecting their relationship. At the time, Leray dismissed the song as in a No Jumper Podcast interview, saying she wished he had addressed her directly.
Fast forward to August 2024, the couple publicly reignited their romance during a concert, sharing a passionate kiss on stage.
Leray later expressed gratitude to Redd in a now-deleted Instagram post, calling him a significant support during her final show in Ohio. By September 2024, Redd confirmed to TMZ that they were officially back together after reaching out to reconcile.
While the pregnancy news has thrilled fans, it’s also sparked interest in how their families view the relationship. In October 2024, Leray’s father, rapper Benzino, shared mixed feelings about Trippie Redd, acknowledging the rapper’s character positively but raising concerns about his cannabis use.
