SARIKEI: A cat was unable to come down from a wall requiring assistance from the civil defenders who came to the rescue.
A concerned resident made a distress call to the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (MCDF) at 1.05 pm this afternoon pertaining to the incident.
“Upon arrival the resident informed the civil defenders that the cat was stuck on top of a wall.
“The civil defenders took less than 20 minutes to rescue the cat using a ladder and handed it over to the resident,” MDCF said in a statement.
The operation ended at 1.22 pm without any untoward incident.
