MIRI: Over the past few days, a man in Krokop 3 here was worried about the presence of big swarms of hornets buzzing around his house on Thursday morning.
Terrified, the 39-year-old man asked the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.
Three Miri APM personnel were mobilised to the scene where they arrived just before 11am.
The nest was about five feet up on a nearby tree next to the complainant’s house.
It took the team 20 minutes to remove the nest measuring about two-feet long.
No untoward incident was reported.
