KUCHING: Acting Head of State Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar has received a courtesy call from the Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Datuk Abdul Rahman Sebli today.
The courtesy call held at the Astana Sarawak was to seek the acting Head of State’s approval regarding the appointment of the Judicial Commissioner of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak.
According to Abdul Rahman, in a statement issued today, four individuals had been proposed as candidates and it was up to the discretion of the Head of State to accept the proposal or otherwise.
Also present during the courtesy call was Member of the Judicial Appointments Commission Datuk Abdul Razak Tready.
