KUCHING: Sarawak Skills Development Centre (PPKS) and City Jogger’s Club Kuching (CJCK) will organise the PPKS 25th Anniversary Charity Fun Run 2019 on July 13.
Targeting about 500 participants, the 5-KM Run is meant to encourage the public to adopt healthy and active lifestyles.
The event is also part of activities planned by PPKS in line with its Silver Jubilee celebration.
Proceeds from the event will be channeled to the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society,
for the patients’ treatment
expenses, PPKS said in a statement
yesterday.
The run is divided into four categories namely adult, student, group and virtual.
Registration fee to participate in the Charity Fun Run is between RM40 and RM50 each.
Every participant will be given a t-shirt upon registration.
For adults, the early bird registration fee will be RM45 per person for those who register on or before May 20.
Those interested to take part are encouraged to register online through the official website at www.charityrun.ppks.edu.my before the closing date on June 13.
Manual registration is also available at the PPKS Tabuan Jaya campus and the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) West Campus at Jalan Stampin Timur here. The registration form can also be downloaded from the official website.
The event will start at 5.45am on July 13 with the start and finish points at PPKS, Tabuan Jaya. The route of the run is available at the official website.
