KUCHING: Residents of Kuching are invited to contribute to the ‘Projek Infak Pakaian Al-Bait’, a clothing donation initiative aimed at helping those in need.
Organised by the Al Bait Leadership Foundation (YKAB) in collaboration with Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, Koperasi Al-Bait Sarawak Berhad, and the Sarawak Islamic Complex Management, the programme seeks donations of pre-loved clothing in good condition.
Items needed include traditional attire such as ‘baju kurung’, ‘baju Melayu’, kebaya, kurta, and jubah, as well as headscarves (tudung), children’s clothing, and formal wear like slacks and shirts.
The collection drive will take place on Sunday (Dec 29), from 10 am to 4 pm at Lot C16, Level 2, Majma’ Mall, here.
