MIRI: A man has been apprehended by the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Miri District Police Headquarters (IPD) on suspicion of stealing electrical cables belonging to a telecommunications company.
The arrest took place in the Miri-Pujut area earlier this evening following the lodging of a police report.
Authorities also seized the severed cables and tools allegedly used in the theft during the operation.
Both the suspect and the confiscated items were taken to the Miri Central Police Station for further investigation.
