MIRI : Burglars broke into a house in Pujut on Monday and fled away with jewellery and cash amounting to more than RM100,000.
A dentist, in his 40’s discovered his house was ransacked upon returning from his workplace around 6.30pm.
He immediately lodged a police report.
Upon checking, he found Australian, Hong Kong and Malaysian currencies, a gold bracelet and a necklace missing from his house.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, another house in Permyjaya Tudan was also burglarised that same day.
The owner made the discovery around 6.30am.Several items including a motorcycle key were missing.
Miri police chief ACP Hakemal Hawari confirmed receiving reports on the burglaries.
