KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Grand Hoover Bhd (Hoover) due to the recent sharp rise in the price of the company’s shares.
At 3.50 pm, Hoover shares rose 40 sen to RM1.76 with 1.92 million shares transacted.
“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the above UMA query which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia’s website under the ‘company announcements’,” the exchange said in a statement on Monday. – Bernama
