MIRI: A house which is still under construction in Kampung Sealine here has been reportedly burglarised with several of the Borneo Ironwood (“Kayu Billian”) missing.
The missing ironwood pieces are believed to be worth approximately RM20,000.
A report on the incident has been lodged by the house owner in his 60’s at Miri Central Police station (CPS).
According to sources, the incident occurred three days ago and it was the fifth time that burglars broke into the house.
The burglars were believed to have gained entry into the house via one of its windows.
