MIRI: The road leading to Bukit Kolamalong at Marudi-Miri road was flooded yesterday evening (Jan 16) following heavy rain.
According to Miri Zone 6 fire chief, Supt Law Poh Kiong, firemen from Marudi were deployed to the place after being told about the situation by a member of the public.
“We mobilised a team to monitor the situation after receiving the call at 4.35pm,” said Law.
As of yesterday evening, the flood had subsided and passable to all vehicles from both directions (Marudi to Miri and Miri to Marudi)” said Law.
