KUCHING: Normah Medical Specialist Centre (NMSC) distributed 1,000 containers of bubur lambuk today (March 25) as part of its efforts to strengthen community ties.
The event, held at the hospital and organised for the first time by Kelab Rekreasi Normah, was officiated by Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) mayor Datuk Hilmy Othman, and NMSC’s chief executive officer, Datuk Dr Au Yong Kien Ho, alongside the hospital’s management team.
According to NMSC, the initiative was part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, with staff and Kelab Rekreasi Normah members actively participating in the preparation of bubur lambuk Ala Normah.
The bubur lambuk Ala Normah was distributed to 1,000 recipients, including staff, visitors, and patients.
The hospital’s recognition as Malaysia’s Best Hospital 2025 underscores its commitment to medical excellence and social responsibility.
Given the strong support from volunteers and staff, NMSC aims to make the bubur lambuk distribution an annual tradition.
