KUCHING: The business community here is again coming up with a programme in support of the government’s initiative to promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI) is teaming up with Persatuan Tukang Masak How Yu Kuching to host an event called ‘Brilliant Chef 2.0 and Culinary Demonstration’ on Sept 8.
It will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm on the ground floor of Hoi Tin Lau Restaurant Sdn Bhd at Aeroville Mall Kuching.
The event follows the successful ‘Brilliant Chef 1.0 Vocational Talk’ in 2022.
Persatuan Tukang Masak Hou Yu Kuching president Goh Ah Seng, who is an accomplished chef, will demonstrate his outstanding culinary skills at the event.
This event aims to increase culinary interest among students of various races, to encourage them to consider the industry as a career choice.
