MIRI: A 13-year-old boy sustained injury after accidentally impaling his right arm on an iron fence in his home at Jalan Riverine, Lutong.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 6.38 pm yesterday (May 23) and promptly dispatched a team from Lutong Station to the scene.
Firefighters had to use an electric saw to remove the steel bar from the boy’s arm.
After the rescue, the child’s parents promptly took him to Miri Hospital for immediate medical attention.
