PADAWAN: Several new tourism facilities will be built near Bengoh Dam, under the supervision of the Greater Kuching Development Coordination Agency (GKCDA).

Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said that the main aim of these new projects is to improve comfort and safety for both tourists and the local community.

“These plans include a main jetty at Bengoh Dam, along with jetties in the Muk Ayun, Sting, and Nyegol villages.

“We’re also looking at building mini jetties and walkways towards popular spots like the Paen, Curtain, and Susung Waterfalls,” he said during a working visit to Bengoh Dam on Friday.

Also present were Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Victor Luna Amin, Deputy Secretary of the Padawan Municipal Council, Henry Jalin Watt, and Siburan District Officer, Ranum Bari.
