KUCHING: As the season of joy and celebration approaches, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is set to delight diners at the Raintree Restaurant with specially curated Christmas and New Year buffet spreads for the Isthmus Christmas.
These festive offerings promise a culinary experience filled with holiday cheer, perfect for gathering with family and friends to create unforgettable memories.
Featuring cuisines from the West, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, thoughtfully infused with local flavours, the buffet promises to bring joy to diners by offering a rich and diverse culinary journey.
Eric Lim, BCCK’s Executive Sous Chef, shared that the buffet menus are highly diverse, offering diners an abundance of options to explore and enjoy.
“We are incorporating Western, Asian, and Southeast Asian cuisines, alongside selections from the Middle East, to create a unique and flavourful menu,” he said during an interview with Sarawak Tribune yesterday (Dec 12).
Lim added that he personally reviewed and curated the menu to ensure a delightful dining experience for the festive season.
“There will be various food stalls, including Japanese and Middle Eastern options, as well as live stalls where diners can watch the preparation of their meals,” he revealed.
According to Lim, the buffet will feature seven to eight live stalls showcasing freshly prepared dishes, enhancing the interactive dining experience.
“We will have live stalls for crepes and waffles, along with a chocolate fountain for dessert lovers to satisfy their sweet cravings,” he added.
The buffets will be held at the Raintree Restaurant, BCCK, from 6 pm to 10 pm. The Merry Dinner Buffet for Christmas Eve will take place on Dec 24, while the Celebration Buffet for New Year’s Eve is scheduled for Dec 31.
Bookings can be made online for over RM120, while walk-in prices are over RM140. Children’s entry is priced at over RM60.
