KUCHING: The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) continues its tradition of community outreach by visiting of Rumah Kanak-kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah Batu 12.

This initiative reflects BCCK’s ongoing efforts to support those in need, bringing warmth and care through specially prepared meals and thoughtful gestures, in the spirit of compassion and togethernes during the month of Ramadan.

As part of its Ramadan corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the BCCK team personally delivered iftar meals, ensuring the children had a hearty and fulfilling breaking of fast.

Along with this, a thoughtful contribution was made to support the home’s ongoing needs, reflecting BCCK’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Chief Operating Officer of BCCK Rayner Simon said that Ramadan is a time for reflection, kindness, and giving.

At BCCK, they believe in looking out for the local community.

“It is truly heartwarming to be able to share a simple yet meaningful gesture with the children at Rumah Kanak-kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah.

“We hope this small effort brings them joy and reminds them that they are cared for.

“It is not about how much we give, but the sincerity behind it.

“We hope that by coming together and reaching out to those around us, we can encourage a culture of generosity and compassion, especially during this sacred time,” he said.

Rayner added that moving forward, BCCK welcomes opportunities to collaborate with like-minded organisations who share their vision of giving back to the community.

“Through partnerships, we believe we can extend our reach and create a greater impact, ensuring more people benefit from meaningful initiatives like this,” he added.

This initiative is part of BCCK’s ongoing commitment to CSR, where the organisation continuously seeks ways to support and uplift the local community.

Looking ahead, BCCK remains open to collaborations that align with its vision of fostering a culture of kindness and shared responsibility.

As Ramadan continues, BCCK remains dedicated to extending kindness and support, encouraging others to embrace the spirit of giving in their own ways.
