BAU: Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) has generously donated two units of haemodialysis machine to Bau Hospital here recently.

SEB’s senior vice president of Corporate Services Siti Aisah Adenan said the haemodialysis machine were donated to solve the urgent need for Bau Hospital to have the machines as the hospital is experiencing an increase demand for haemodalysis treatment. It was also to replace the outdated and faulty medical equipment in the hospital.

“Through this contribution, we hope it will enhance Bau Hospital’s healthcare services and provide better support to the communities, especially with the increasing number of patients requiring haemodialysis treatment,” she said.

Siti Aisah expressed this during the handover of the haemodialysis machines, in collaboration with Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri-Isteri (SABATI) at Bau Hospital today (Aug 7).

Officiated by SABATI president, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang who is the wife of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, the initiative was part of SEB’s commitment to support the community healthcare, through SEB’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillar of “Community Development and Entrepreneurship”.
