MIRI: The Miri Hospital Blood Bank received generous donations on Monday (June 12) from the Batu Niah Lions Club and Shun Shen Lee Trading (Miri) Sdn Bhd in support of its upcoming blood donation programme.
The donations, which included 10 cartons of drinks and 50 packets of 5kg rice, were presented by Batu Niah Lions Club president Andy Jong.
The blood drive is scheduled to take place on June 14, commencing at 8.30am in the Miri Hospital Nurses Home conference room.
Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong will grace the event as the guest-of-honour.
