KUCHING: Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat Chairman, Baru Bian on Monday said he felt honoured to have been appointed as Minister of Works in the new Pakaran Harapan Federal government led by Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“I am conscious of the fact that the responsibility attached to this portfolio is a heavy and onerous one.
“I want to thank the Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir for his confidence in me. I will endeavour to do my best to ensure that the Works Ministry is efficient, transparent and accountable in all its dealings. I humbly ask for your prayers as I embark on this new job,” he added.
