If we consider ourselves
As being masters of nature
We should then be its stewards
And conservators, as well
Yes, help save the rainforests!
At this very moment, now is what is “real”
And it’s perfect as it is
So savour the moment fully!
By all means, let’s all be vocal
And be known for the right reasons
But definitely, not for being bigots,
And extremists — pungent vitriolics!
For as the earth heats up
The tropical diseases will migrate
First Northwards, then Southwards
The warming — turning to mourning
