Army thwarts illegal entry by 7 foreign jobseekers

The seven foreign men caught by 13 RAMD for entering Malaysia via an illegal route in Lubok Antu.

LUBOK ANTU: Seven foreign nationals’ attempt to seek employment illegally in Malaysia was foiled by the 13th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment (13 RAMD) when they were stopped in their tracks on an unauthorised route in Lubok Antu on Thursday (Dec 7).

The individuals, all Indonesian men, did not have valid travel documents.

They also admitted entering Malaysia through an illegal route with the intention of finding employment in the country.

The foreign nationals were handed over to the Indonesian National Army (TNI) for deportation to their country of origin.
