The Iban women’s ngajat costume is also trending in the world of armwrestling featuring an Eastern European beauty adorning the costume as her repertoire in her role as ring girl during the matches on the main stage.
According to organisers all their social media feeds are full of questions as to what exactly was she wearing? With many requests for infomation on how to purchase the costume. The event has a typical 10 million viewers from mostly Europe and the United States, South America and now growing in South East Asia.
The Vendetta Top 8 Armwrestling Championship started with a bang with a full house and the added glamour of having the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture,Youth and Sports Sarawak Datuk Abdul Karim Hamzah accompanied by his entourage of assistant ministers and ministry officials among the crowd of fans and enthusiasts.
The event which began last night will also be concurrent with the Premier 101 International Charity Armwrestling Championship taking place at Premier 101 this morning at 9am with the official launching slated for 7pm later this evening.
