MIRI: Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel on Wednesday spent 20 minutes trying to unlock a car to free a three year-old boy who was trapped in the vehicle.
It was learnt his parents had left the car when its auto lock triggered, locking the doors with the boy inside the vehicle which was.parked in front of a Children and Heart Specialist Clinic in Jalan Bintang here.
According to APM officer-in-charge Capt.Frankie John Jawan, an emergency call came in at 2.40pm and they got to the scene within two minutes.
Using a special tool, they eventually managed to unlock the doors and free the boy.
