KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently brought several of his grandchildren to his office at Perdana Putra, Putrajaya to give them a first-hand look at his daily duties and responsibilities.
In a recent Facebook post, Anwar shared that his grandchildren had been questioning his frequent absence from home as he was often occupied with work and various official engagements.
“My grandchildren often ask why I’m rarely home. They don’t quite understand that serving the nation is no simple task. So, I decided to bring them to the office to let them see what I do,” he wrote.

Prior to this, Anwar had a packed schedule, including hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping during his three-day official visit to Malaysia.
Following that, he travelled to Bangkok to meet Thailand’s Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
Most recently, Anwar visited Kuching for a one-day trip, during which he chaired the Special Meeting on Sarawak Development 2025 and officiated at the state-level Aidilfitri MADANI 2025 celebration held at Stadium Perpaduan.
