RAPPER-turned-politician, Altimet, feels humble and grateful to have been entrusted by the members of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s (PKR) Ampang branch to continue helming the responsibility as the branch chief.

The 47-year-old, whose real name is Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman Alhadad, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the members who voted for him and strengthened his position as a grassroots leader of PKR.

“This victory does not belong to me alone, but to the entire team that has worked tirelessly and believes that the future of the Keadilan Party in Ampang requires principled leadership and a spirit of change.

“Your active involvement in this process proves that our party’s democracy continues to thrive and live. Differences in views are our strength, not our weakness. Now, I call on all branch members to set aside all differences. The time has come for us to unite,” he said.

He also called for unity and continued support within the party branch in facing the next General Election (GE), expected to be held in 2028.
