SEBUYAU: A new development milestone is underway as the government advances the construction of Block F groin near the Sebuyau river estuary.

Sebuyau assemblyman Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi said that this progress is set against the backdrop of the Batang Lupar estuary, where the Batang Lupar Bridge is also under construction.

The 4.8-kilometre bridge, designed to connect Sebuyau with Triso, will cross the Batang Lupar estuary and link coastal roads.

Julaihi noted that this construction is part of a larger project extending from Block A in Sebangan to Block D in Tebelu and Block E in Kampung Seberang Sebuyau.

He said that the Sarawak government, through the Integrated Regional Samarahan Development Agency (IRSDA), is funding the initiative.

“With expectations set for a smooth construction of the fort, we are hopeful for positive developments in the area,” he said in a Facebook post.
