KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg received two courtesy visits at his office yesterday morning.

The first was a delegation from Malaysian Armed Forces Veteran Association (PVATM) led by its president, Roland Demong Radin.

The aim of the visit was to invite the Chief Minister to attend PVATM annual general meeting to be held in August this year.

At the same time, Roland briefed the Chief Minister on the activities planned by the association for this year to assist members or their family members who are disabled.

Also present was PVATM advisor, Lieutenant Colonel Monday Juhid (rtd) and committee members.

Next to visit the Chief Minister was a delegation from the Persatuan Persaudaraan Melayu Sri Aman Betong led by its president Dr Zulwali Kifli Merawi.

The aim of the visit was to brief the Chief Minister on the association’s activities planned for this year.

Among the delegation was their deputy presidents, Mohd Yusop Lugom and Mas Shamsiah Maslem and committee members.
