KUCHING: Minister of National Unity Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang has called on Malaysians to embrace the spirit of Aidilfitri as a celebration of unity, noting that understanding, respect, and acceptance are key to fostering national harmony.
In his Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025 message, Aaron, who is also the Kanowit MP, highlighted that the festival is more than just a religious occasion—it is a reflection of Malaysia’s diverse yet united society.
“Aidilfitri is not just a religious celebration but also a manifestation of unity that embraces all Malaysians, regardless of religion, race, or background.
“This is the beauty of our nation, where the values of Understanding, Respect, and Acceptance form the foundation of our strong relationships.,” he said.
Urging Malaysians to strengthen bonds of friendship, Aaron expressed hope that the spirit of Raya would further cement national cohesion and foster a harmonious and prosperous Malaysia.
“We understand that diversity is our strength, respect the differences that exist, and accept each other’s uniqueness with an open heart. This is the key to harmony that we must uphold together.
“In the spirit of Aidilfitri, let us strengthen our bonds and continue to cultivate unity for a more harmonious and prosperous Malaysia.
