Years back as a kid you said at BDC Swimming Pool,
You will one day be a star and today you kept that word in full.
For Sarawak and Malaysia you won many diving victories,
But now the highest the top World Cup so glorious.
Words cannot describe our feelings fully,
Just to say we are very proud of u truly.
From the Agong to our folks at bung bratak,
They honour you from the bottom of their hearts.
In our hearts we deeply respect you and love you,
Because you, like us came from nothing but you came through.
Recall the village poverty and hardship and the pains we bear,
But now to the world you shine and few in Malaysia did it we swear.
To think that a simple Bidayuh girl from Bung Bratak did it,
Almost unbelievable but it is so true and real and what a feat.
Pandelela…keep on shining,
Keep the Malaysian flag flying.
Also for all our race the Bidayuhs and lovely Sarawak,
Our abode our heritage n where we all had walked.
To you our deepest love and respect forever,
For you in our hearts you live and we will eternally remember.
