MIRI: Thieves broke into an eatery in Taman Merbau here on Saturday, carting away items worth nearly RM1,500 including three gas cylinders and a single-door fridge.
The premises owner, in his late 30s, lodged a police report at 10am the same day after being informed of the break-in.
The police went to the scene following the lodged report. Initial investigation showed the thieves might have gained access into the premises via the back door.
As at press time, no arrests were made.
