KUCHING: The Kuching district anti-rabies vaccination programme will end at Zone G and H on Tuesday, April 30. These zones include areas from Hui Sing Garden, Stampin, Stutong, Saradise and Kuching Airport.
Five locations from the zone are selected for spot vaccination. These are Pondok Polis Hui Sing, Taman Hui Sing (Lorong 5), Taman Seng Goon, Hui Sing Garden Community Centre, Dewan Persatuan Masyarakat Stampin (Lorong 17A, Stutong Baru) and Taman Daya starting from 9am until 6pm.
A house-to-house vaccination will be performed by the Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak atTaman Everbright Jaya, Phoning, Iris Garden and around Aeon Mall, Tabuan Dusun and BDC areas.
Residents of Zone G and H are advised to use the opportunity to obtain anti-rabies vaccine injections for free, particularly for dogs with owners.
Dog owners who are interested to obtain the injections are encouraged to come to the targeted locations to avoid waiting for the veterinary team to come to their residences.
The anti-rabies vaccination programme has commenced in both areas under Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU) and Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS) according to the divison of zones starting from April 22 in conjunction with phase 3 of integrated operations.
