Premier wraps up Hari Raya visit in Miri

MIRI: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg concluded his Hari Raya Aidilfitri visit in Miri today (Apr 6) with a visit to the residence of Bekenu assemblywoman Datuk Rosey Yunus in Taman Bumiko, here.

Arriving at approximately 9.30am, the Premier was accompanied by Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin; Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Julaihi Narawi; Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government (Public Health and Housing) Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil; and State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.

The group spent about an hour at Rosey’s residence, exchanging festive greetings and partaking in the traditional Raya fare before departing for Bintulu, where the Premier is scheduled to continue his Hari Raya engagements.

Abang Johari’s visit to Miri is part of his annual Hari Raya tradition, aimed at strengthening community ties and fostering goodwill among leaders and the public during the festive season.
