KUCHING: Kuching Rugby Football Club (KRFC) received their new kit at an official handover ceremony, with Eurich Tirisi, representing Putra Sentosa Retreat Camp, sponsoring.

KRFC president Yusuf Shah accepted the jerseys on behalf of the team, marking a significant moment for the club.

The event, held recently, was also witnessed by Zainal Abidin Abdullah, KRFC patron, further adding to the occasion’s significance.

Eurich expressed his enthusiasm for supporting the club, emphasising the importance of sponsorship in promoting local rugby talent.

In his remarks, Yusuf extended his gratitude to the sponsor for their contribution, highlighting how the new jerseys would enhance the team’s morale and unity on the field.

Zainal commended the initiative, stressing that such support plays a crucial role in the development of sports within the local community.

He encouraged other stakeholders to follow suit and back local teams to help elevate the standard of sports in the area.

Meanwhile, KRFC, in a Facebook post, extended their heartfelt gratitude to YZ Technology Sdn Bhd for their unwavering support over the past seven years.
