MIRI: A stolen motorcycle frame was recovered by police during a special operation, codenamed Ops Lejang, conducted on Sunday.

The operation also led to the arrest of three 17-year-old boys in connection with the theft.

Police carried out the raid between 10 am and noon in the Senadin and Kampung Tudan. They discovered the motorcycle frame, reported stolen on 17 March 2024, in the bushes alongside a road near Lorong 3, Kampung Senadin, Jalan Kuala Baram.

The discovery was made at 12.30 pm after the suspects led police to the location. The motorcycle was reported missing from a residential area in Bandar Baru Permyjaya, here.

The case is being investigated under Section 379A of the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to seven years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any criminal activities to assist in maintaining community safety.
