OCI M Sdn Bhd bags gold at Premier of Sarawak Environmental Award 2023/2024

KUCHING: OCI M Sdn Bhd has been awarded the prestigious gold award in the large enterprise category at the 11th Premier of Sarawak Environmental Award (PSEA) 2023/2024.

OCI M senior director and head of sustainability Dr Kim Soo Yeon and general manager of safety, health and environment Oh Chang Woo received the award from Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan at the award ceremony held on Wednesday (Jan 23).

Kim said the award recognised OCI M’s continued commitment and dedication to sustainability and the environment.

“We are honoured to receive this award, which reinforces our commitment to sustainable business practices.

“This recognition not only celebrates our efforts to reduce environmental impact but also motivates us to continue innovating and aligning with Malaysia’s leading standards recognised globally, as we strive to become a pioneer and leader in sustainability across Southeast Asia.”

The award, she added, was a testament to the company’s ongoing initiatives and contributions to a greener future.

Also present at the award ceremony graced by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg were OCI Holdings chairman Lee Woo-Hyun and OCI M chief executive officer Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli.
