MIRI: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Lambir branch recently delivered a donation of mandarin oranges to the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station as part of their community outreach programme.

A total of seven SUPP Lambir members, led by branch chief Ong Chee Yee, presented two boxes of mandarin oranges to the station personnel. They were warmly received by the station’s officer-in-charge, Henry Jugah, who provided an overview of the station’s operations.

During their visit, the delegation toured the fire station, including the Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) area and the station’s information area. This visit marked Ong’s first time at the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station, and he expressed enthusiasm about learning more about its facilities and operations firsthand.

“Although the station is quite a distance from Lambir, I was eager to visit and gain a better understanding of its operations,” said Ong.

He further shared that he has known Henry for a long time, dating back to his tenure as the private secretary to the Minister of Transport Sarawak, Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin.
