MUKAH: The Mukah Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Mukah) hosted an educational visit from Tabika Kemas Rumah Muring Matu recently.
A total of 10 students, accompanied by 10 parents and two teachers, participated in the visit, which took place from 2 pm to 3 pm.
The primary aim of the visit was to provide young children with early exposure to fire safety.
During the programme, the on-duty firefighters delivered a safety briefing, followed by a demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher.
This activity aimed to enhance awareness of fire prevention measures and teach appropriate responses during emergencies.
With the involvement of seven BBP Mukah officers, the programme highlighted their commitment to promoting safety awareness and education at the grassroots level.
As a result, the programme offered valuable experiences for the participating children and received positive feedback from parents and accompanying teachers.
