BALINGIAN: Community and village leaders (KMKK) are urged to attend the Leadership Integrity Module Course (MIKM) organised in their areas.

Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya said such courses are aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge in managing their villages.

“Through this effort, we also seek to realise the aspirations of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg under the Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030).

“However, our goal is not only to achieve a developed state but also one with high integrity,” he said.

He made these remarks while officiating at the closing ceremony of the Leadership Integrity Module Course (MIKM) Level 1 Series 13/2025 and Level 2 Series 2/2025 at the Balingian Community Hall yesterday.

In this regard, Juanda, who is also the State assemblyman for Jemoreng, emphasised that Community and Village Leaders (KMKK) should activate the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) to help facilitate the monitoring of projects implemented in their respective areas.

He stated that JKKK should stay informed about the details of the projects being carried out, including their implementation timeline and other relevant information.

“If a project encounters issues, they should consult the relevant authorities to understand the problems and address them effectively.

“This is because we want to ensure that the projects implemented reach the people and provide them with the intended benefits,” he explained.

uanda also reminded the public to remain vigilant and to report the flood conditions in their respective areas to the relevant authorities.

Balingian Assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi and Tellian Assemblyman Royston Valentine also attended the event.
