MIRI: Two houses in Kampung Pelapi, Bekenu, were completely destroyed in a fire this afternoon.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Centre, the two houses were 50 metres apart. But no casualties were reported.
Firefighters from the Batu Niah Fire and Rescue Station, led by Rary Binjie, were dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving an emergency call at 2pm.
